2008 European Freestyle Championships
The 2008 European Freestyle Championships will be held this summer on the Mino River in Northwest Spain. Paddlers will wax tricky on Ourense Wave, located below a bridge in the town Ourense.
Dates for the competition are July 23 to 26. More information is available on the the event website at http://personales.ya.com/eurogalicia2008/
Elbow River and also hit the Kananaskis River
Nathan and I are planning to go to Elbow River and also hit the Kananaskis River near Calgary!!! We hope to possibly take off Friday, camp over and have ALL saturday to paddle to our hearts content! If you want in leave your number so we can call you with the final information of our trip plans.

I was in Waterton today and I saw Blackiston Creek!!! It looks really good right now, so I have a bit of an itch to go this Saturday, but I need some more people to come and enjoy its greatness. crystal clear water, and a class III feature that I want to paddle, that is a bit west of the red rock canyon parking lot, just upstream from the bridge to Blackiston Falls.
