I was in Waterton today and I saw Blackiston Creek!!! It looks really good right now, so I have a bit of an itch to go this Saturday, but I need some more people to come and enjoy its greatness. crystal clear water, and a class III feature that I want to paddle, that is a bit west of the red rock canyon parking lot, just upstream from the bridge to Blackiston Falls.
This Creek's a Class II Class III creek that is very skinny, but fun. There is one portage that we will need to get out and around. We will need to keep our eyes pealed for wood, and being able to catch eddies will help you out greatly! but I hope that it will be alot of fun!!! so let me know if your in cause I really want to go!
