The Vancouver Kayak Club is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary by hosting a Whitewater Festival! All Invited!! When: May 3rd and 4th, 2008 Where: Canada, Chilliwack, Vancouver, BC The Vancouver Kayak Club (VKC) will host a kayaking festival on the Chilliwack River, BC, Canada on May 3rd/4th, 2008. Event will include camping, shuttle, BBQ, guided runs, clinics, contests, demos, and entertainment. We are currently seeking sponsors and support. The Chilliwack river is known for its consistent water, challenging rapids for many levels (Class 2-4+), including 'Tamihi', beautiful scenery, nice camping and easy access.
